I enjoyed reading this. I liked the roles that you assigned to each of the characters that appeared - I don't think there was any one that I didn't find suitable! Even the animals. In fact, I was often thinking "nice(ly assigned)" as I read - and how you fitted the GS4 plots into this - it was a pleasant surprise when I first came to the meeting with the elves, then I settled into enjoying the rest. I've to say I was very relieved that the GS4-3 plot wasn't followed to the end though. XD With all those ominous Daryan is about to betray Klavier hints, I was so afraid I'll be reading through another heartbreaking story. Heh, so yea, I was quite glad it didn't end up one. XD Characterisations felt generally ok to me. Needless to say, I was happy with the Daryan/Klavier (knight and prince~ *swoons*) and the Phoenix/Miles too! (There's something I like very much about Miles being cast as a dragon tamer. And Maya was cool in here too~ I thought you wrote her well. ^^) I was a little disappointed that the end was so short though - as in, I was kinda expecting Kristoph to keep his mask on a little longer, there to be more mental/verbal/physical/whatever sparring/battle between Kristoph and Phoenix (the kind that had me on the edge of my seat while playing 4-1?), the crowd to perhaps teeter a little more between who to believe maybe?... It just felt a little... too easy after all the build up, all the preparations, all the talk about the danger and the possibility of Phoenix losing control once more. But despite that, I can say I did enjoy reading. Cool planning and nicely written!
