They’re putting up the Christmas tree together; Phillipa wrapping tinsel around the branches, Dom lifting James up to hang ornaments on higher branches. They’re happy, and Arthur watches from the kitchen counter, where he is cooking dinner. There’s an arm wrapping around his waist and he turns into the warmth as Eames presses a kiss to his temple. “Do you ever look at them, thinking of what you could have?” Arthur raises an eyebrow, confused. “Y’know,” Eames nods in Dom’s direction. “A family.” “Could have?” Arthur asks, turning to Eames. “I have one. You, Dom, the kids. You're my family.”
