“When is your birthday?” “April six.” “No.” Arthur raises an eyebrow. “No?” “I’m not accepting that answer. It’s a clear lie; you paused to think. You wouldn’t have to, if you were telling the truth.” A loud sigh. “Eames, why does it even matter?” “Because I’d like to give you a present.” Arthur shakes his head. “No.” “If you don’t tell me, I can give you presents every day. I’ll get it right eventually.” The next day, Arthur walks to his desk, finding a box with orange wrapping and green bow. Eames smirks at him. “I wasn’t kidding, you know.”
