The good thing about you, his father had once said, is that you find the beauty in everything.

He'd taken the comment to heart; strived to do it even when it was difficult. He'd come home from terrible days at school, and paint the clouds on the walk home. His father would smile. He made it a way of life.

But now, in the middle of this gunfight, he doesn't even need to try. Between shots, he pauses long enough to drink in the sight of Arthur, ducking, weaving, a deadly dance.

It's the most beautiful thing he's ever seen.
