Notes: Written for inception100 for challenge #40: this picture prompt

“This place was a garden. Grandfather had it levelled and converted into a library. You should have seen the photos; such beautiful trees. I’m still unsure which I prefer.” “I can see that,” Arthur says quietly. The library was probably constructed from memory, but this place looks like the garden has grown back, with a vengeance. Trees reach towards the sky, uncaring of the debris left in their wake. It’s a haunting sight, but he loves it. Arthur turns to Eames, and pulls him into a gentle kiss. He’d asked to see his lover’s childhood home, but this is better.
