It is the middle of the night. Arthur goes for a walk. The cold air clings to him. The park is desolate; the lamps evenly spaced and shining on, isolated. He walks, silent steps though there is nobody to hear. The park is large and he crosses it step by step, going nowhere. A warm hand closes around his wrist. He pulls his gun first, twitches later. Eames stares down the barrel of the Glock, hands in the air. This is a dream. “What are you doing here?” “You looked lonely.” Arthur hesitates, then lowers his gun. “…Come on, then.”
