A cold wind blows around them, whipping the bottoms of their coats around their knees. It’s loud, but Arthur’s words are clear, and despite the roaring of the wind, a silence has settled in the small space between them.

The small space growing smaller by the moment.

Eames’ brow is furrowed, his head tilted in an angle that is a question in itself. He doesn’t ask what he wants to, though, because it’s a useless question. He knows what he’s heard, he just wants to hear it again.

In the cold wind, Eames leans forward. Arthur does too.

Kiss me.
