There's blood on the snow. It's the only indication Eames gets that Arthur's been shot. The gunfight was several hours and kilometres away, and Arthur has said nothing, bleeding throughout the drive to their hideout. "You're an idiot," Eames informs him, once they're inside and the heat is turned up. He undresses Arthur with a different kind of urgency to normal. "You could've said something." "And you'd go mad worrying," Arthur replies. He's holding gauze to his side, his fingers are red with blood. "Arthur," Eames opens the first-aid kit. "Of course I would. But next time, don't scare me."

I love... either of these two being shot, to be honest. I think that makes me a terrible person but writers like torturing characters... right?
